Caritas Community Focus is a non-profit organization providing services
throughout the Northern Cape and part of the North West provinces.
We are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.

During 2021, Caritas and the Dutch Reformed Church in the Northern Cape launched the ‘Red ‘n Plaas’ (Save a Farm) project to support our farmers and farmworkers throughout the drought-stricken areas of the Northern Cape and surrounds.

This year, we are doing it again. The only difference is that RSG will oversee this initiative from Williston to Verneukpan.

The walk’s aim is to raise much needed funds to support our farming communities who are still struggling after the crippling droughts to keep their heads above water. All monies raised will be used to provide humanitarian (provision of basic needs, fuel, school- and
university fees, etc.) as well as pastoral services and emotional support through qualified persons.

The kind people from Tankwa Camino will manage all logistics for this wonderful initiative from RSG.
Other partners involved in this project is: AgriNK and Diaconia.
